Congratulations on your purchase! We are delighted to have you as a customer.

We invite you to read carefully our user guide included in your pack and to watch our tutorial video below:

Once you understand how it works, follow page 3 of your guide with the different adaptation steps.

We know how we have all been conditioned from a young age to brush our teeth for 2 minutes.

It takes time to deconstruct this habit.

The gesture is not innate and obvious at first, and we have noticed that it takes 2-3 weeks for it to become almost instinctive.

Don't be in a hurry! Take your time and everything will be fine!

No, that's okay. We understand that you are anxious to get to the 5 seconds. Nevertheless, you should not be disappointed by the result.

You'll see, in 5 seconds, doing the required gesture without having got used to it is not so simple. Try it and see for yourself! If you feel that it is too complicated, go back to the 15 or 10 second mode. But leave yourself time to get the hang of the product, it's important!

We invite you to go to page 3 of your user guide.

On this page, you will find the learning steps.

WEEK 1: Brushing with the 15 second mode only (and possibly your regular toothbrush)

WEEK 2: Switch to the normal 10 second mode

WEEK 3: Switch to the 5-second intensive mode

Don't worry, this is perfectly normal.

There is a significant adjustment time to take into account.

As long as your teeth are smooth after brushing, you are doing the right thing.

If you feel that there are still some rough spots, don't hesitate to look at the other articles in this section.

Slight bleeding may occur in the first few days. This is not serious, it is even a good sign!

I suggest that you turn your brush head more slowly than usual. It is important to let the vibrations of the brush do their work.

You can also try moving back and forth while turning from right to left.

If you bite down on the brush while brushing, then the problem must be elsewhere.

If you see that the entire tooth is not filled by the bristles when you push your teeth into the brush, then unfortunately your teeth are far too large for our brush head standard.

Please do not hesitate to contact our customer service at customers@y-brush.com

The standard shape of the brush head may not allow some users to brush the entire surface of their teeth well.

Remember that you must turn the brush from right to left to reach the back teeth. If this is not enough, I suggest that you squeeze the cheeks to allow the bristles to sit on the surface of the teeth.

It should be changed at most every 6 months. It is up to you to change it more often if you wish.

The chewing action allows each tooth to be brushed over its entire height as well as the gums. The rotating movement allows you to brush the last molars at the back of the jaw. For optimal brushing efficiency, it is therefore very important to respect these two movements.

If this happens a few weeks or months after receipt, it may be due to your own use.

This kind of breakage occurs when the user does not unclip the brush head (but pulls on it to remove it) or when the user does not accompany the handle when turning it from right to left during brushing.

Please do not hesitate to contact our customer service on this matter if you have any questions.

This happens when the user chews or bites the brush too hard.

Be smoother and lighter in your action and your brush head will last longer.

This may be due to poor management of the coating in production. But it can also be due to extreme use.

The easiest way to solve this problem is to contact our customer service by email at customers@y-brush.com with a picture of your brush and the care you give it (soaking in a liquid solution for example)

It's quite simple, just refer to our user manual in your pack or watch this video:

A short press turns on the toothbrush and changes the modes

A long press starts and stops the vibrations.

Each mode you choose has a timer inside so you don't have to worry about brushing time. It will stop by itself.

It is highly recommended that you use it to help distribute the toothpaste on your brush. It also allows you to use the optimal amount of toothpaste without wasting it. If you don't have it, don't panic, we advise you to put 3 dots on your brush: on the left, middle and right. Otherwise, put a dab on your finger and spread the toothpaste directly on your teeth.

The use of Y-Brush does not exclude the application of toothpaste for each brushing.

You can use your own toothpaste. One application per brushing is sufficient.

If you feel it is necessary to apply more toothpaste after brushing a jaw, you can but it is not mandatory.

Although a toothpaste applicator is highly recommended, you can always put a dab of toothpaste on one of your fingers and then spread it on your teeth.

Our toothpaste tablets give you a whole new brushing experience.

It may lather a little less than toothpaste in a tube, but its exfoliating effect thanks to the small pieces of toothpaste makes your brushing experience even better.

Another important aspect is that it is zero waste. It's a nice gesture you're making for the planet!

At the moment we only offer the mint flavour. But we are open to suggestions for other flavours to expand our range.

Any type of toothpaste can be used in practice. However, we recommend using a toothpaste that is not too thick (gel type) to avoid too much post-brushing cleaning.

We have developed our own toothpaste in an organic tube (link). It has the right texture and colour (transparent) for optimal use of Y-Brush.

You can also be tempted by our chewable toothpaste, a nice product that can be carried everywhere without any constraint.

No toothbrush replaces dental floss or interdental brushes. Y-Brush was designed to replace the toothbrush, so you should continue to use these very important accessories, and visit the dentist regularly.

Our dental floss is quite unusual, it has a handle that allows you to improve its grip and therefore its use. You will see, it makes it totally simple and quick to use.

Dentists recommend flossing at least once a day.

We are thinking about it and we hope that the range will grow very quickly to satisfy all our customers. Be patient!

The Y-Brush handle can be recharged with the USB charger (micro B type) supplied in your pack. Once charged (8 hours for a full charge), the battery lasts 3 months.

The product was created in collaboration with dentists. It took 2 years of research before the first version of the product could be marketed. We are currently working with several dentists in France. They recommend us to their patients according to the problems they may encounter (caries, dental hygiene, etc.)

Of course. You can tell your dentist that he or she can contact us at customers@y-brush.com and we will be happy to send them a test pack.

Of course. We are not so pretentious as to say that we can do without the experts in the field for a product that affects people's health.

It was very important for us to ask a group of dentists and oral health professionals to help us produce Y-Brush. This product took us over 2 years of R&Q and was validated after extensive testing.

Firstly, the brush is very soft and flexible, which allows it to follow the shape of your jaw.

Secondly, we have 2 sizes of brush: one size (S) for children from 4 years old AND for people with a small jaw (women without wisdom teeth) and another (M) for teenagers and adults from 12 years old.

It's pretty simple.

A standard 2-minute brushing time means that you spend between 2 and 4 seconds (depending on the number of teeth) on each of your teeth. Thanks to its U-shape, Y-Brush brushes all the teeth of one jaw at the same time. This is how you save time. It is even more effective because Y-Brush does not neglect any area, unlike manual brushing where we tend not to brush certain areas well.

Y-Brush technology is totally different from all the fast toothbrushes you will find on the market, which use large silicone bristles. Our technology is the only brush in the world that uses very fine nylon filaments, which are very effective.

All independent research shows that silicone is not effective against plaque because it is too soft. Furthermore, the pimples used are far too wide to fit between the teeth.

Our brush also covers only one arch at a time, which is much more comfortable and will not cause a gag reflex.

Y-Brush offers you a different technology: sonic technology. The sonic technology is less aggressive than the oscillo-rotary technology. It has several modes of sonic vibrations: soft, normal or intensive that you can choose according to your dental sensitivity or brushing needs. Moreover, thanks to its shape, Y-Brush brushes all the sides of your teeth without worrying about it.

Y-Brush n’est pas une brosse-à-dents qui émet des ultrasons. La technologie utilisée est uniquement sonique (20.000 vibrations/minute).

The brush is single-sided to ensure your comfort. Our tests revealed that a double brush is too bulky and complicated to place in the mouth, and can cause gag reflexes. We've made sure that speeding up your brushing routine is always a comfortable experience.

Very easy! Size S is recommended for children 4-12 years old AND adults with small jaws (women without wisdom teeth) and size M is recommended for most adults AND children 12+ years old

Y-Brush is still a young company that released the first version of its product more than 2 years ago. At this stage of the company and in view of the Made in France manufacturing, our products are still expensive and we are aware that this can be a brake.

We hope to be able to lower our prices by the end of 2022.

No, because only soft brushes are recommended today. Therefore, the brushes we manufacture are only of this hardness. The medium and hard brushes are even dangerous for the gums.

Yes, Y-Brush is an excellent choice for children from 4 years old, especially when they are reluctant to brush their teeth. With Y-Brush, it's fun and playful!

There is no doubt about the effectiveness of Y-Brush in such cases. Indeed, the disposition and the flexibility of the bristles will allow to brush well. The brush will just get damaged more easily so don't hesitate to change the brush more often in this kind of case. It is also suitable if you have orthodontic aligners. It is a great ally for brushing your teeth quickly after eating or drinking (and therefore just before putting your aligners back in).

Simply rinse your brush after each use as you would your normal toothbrush. You can stretch the brush slightly to rinse between the bristles if necessary. To keep your brush free of bacteria and clean all the time, you can also soak it in mouthwash. All you need to have on hand is: - 1 cup - 2/3 water - 1/3 mouthwash Soak overnight. You can do this once or twice a week, or whenever you find it difficult to get the toothpaste off.

We suggest that you leave the brush head soaking in a diluted mouthwash solution overnight. This will soften the toothpaste and make it easier to remove afterwards.

Alternatively, opt for toothpastes that are more fluid than thick.

Above all, avoid putting your handle in contact with water. The handle is only splash-proof.

We invite you to take a wet towel and rub a little on the area full of toothpaste.

It is probably mould. This is caused by poor ventilation in the bathroom and a brush that is too full of moisture after each brushing.

Remember to drain the water from your brush head and leave the brush head upside down on a glass or our storage rack.

It depends on what your dentist recommends but there are no contraindications. Y-Brush can be used if you can use an electric toothbrush. The same applies to its use in case of periodontitis or gingivitis.

Oui, bien sûr. La technologie sonique et les poils souples en nylon de Y-Brush sont totalement adaptés. N'hésitez pas à demander conseil à votre dentiste sur l'utilisation (ou non) recommandée d'une brosse à dents électrique.

In such cases, Y-Brush is a great ally for brushing your teeth quickly after eating or drinking (and therefore just before putting your aligners back in).
