In the memories of Willy Wonka (Johnny Deep) we discover his father, Wilbur Wonka (Christopher Lee), all dressed in white. He is a dentist who hates sweets. He even lashes out at his son by throwing into fire his Halloween toffees. So when Willy decides to open his chocolate factory, his father cuts all ties with him. It is only years later that Willy decides to go back to his father. Upon examining him, his father immediately recognizes him.
